Norfolk Fire And Rescue Service (Thetford Fire Station) have assembled a crew to take on the 3 peaks challenge this September in aid of raising money for a charity close to our hearts (The Firefighters Charity).

The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to live happier and healthier lives.

This is a mountain challenge in which the crew will attempt to climb the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis 4,406 ft.), England (Scafell 3,206 ft.), and Wales (Mount Snowdon 3,560 ft.) consecutively within 24hrs, including travel between the 3 peaks.

With a hike of more than 25 miles and ascending more than 10,000 feet with sleep deprivation this will certainly be a challenge of mental & physical strength.

The team of firefighters taking on this challenge will be Steven Meen, Steven Collins, Rob Breen, Freddie Schunmann, Jordan Boulton. The Crew will also be guided on routes working alongside Neil Boulton.
