Story

In summer 2024, 25-year-old adventurer Louis Alexander completed his 'Swimming The Seven Seas' project - a sequel to his previous 'Running The Seven Continents' project which finished in Antarctica in December 2024. By doing so, he became the first, and only, person to have completed both achievements.

Louis' challenges started in 2019 - after making a promise at his Grandfather's funeral, whilst delivering the eulogy, to support the fight against dementia until the day we find a cure. His adventures have raised over £40,000 to date for the charity, and have also led to Louis delivering an Open Letter to 10 Downing Street to raise awareness for dementia diagnostics.
