Making by the most of summer and organising some fundraisers for CAFOD.

I am hoping to raise £50 BY doing a sponsored 450m swim none stop and also selling some cakes at a BBQ This is to raise money for CAFOD as part of my Brownie charity badge.

There is enough food in the world to feed everyone - together we can step up to the plate and help our global family.

Summer of Hope event will support families around the world affected by the climate crisis and our broken food system.

£12 can provide seeds from different strains of local crops that can survive longer without water, as well as teach people how to grow plants in a more sustainable way.  

£20 can help grow fresh and nourishing vegetables as well as provide tools and training needed for families to create their own hydroponic system (a way of growing plants using water with added nutrients).

£58 could provide vulnerable young people with the essential skills and training to set up and manage their own greenhouses
