A number of thrill seekers will be taking part in Leeds United Foundation's Charity Abseil at Eland Road on Saturday 22nd March 2025

Story

Hi - on the 22nd March 2025, our three children, Ben, Joe & Isabel, and I will be abseiling off the East Stand at Elland Road - a 50m drop! Should be quite the experience and a unique view of our seats in the North Stand!

We are also fundraising for The Leeds United Foundation and would be grateful for any support you can give.

Many thanks from us all!

MOT

The Leeds United Foundation uses the power of sport to educate, motivate, inspire and support people throughout the entire Leeds community - a catalyst to improve people’s lives. We have a fantastic group of staff that work tirelessly on our programmes, helping to change and positively impact lives.

Over the past year, 42,943 participants have been involved in our twenty-five different programmes – providing more than 500,000 hours of activity. Just over half of our activity focuses on sports and participation for all; disabled football, walking football, grassroots youth teams, our elite girl’s academy and the school holiday activities we run across Leeds. We spend over a quarter of our time in Primary and Secondary schools – supporting with education, attendance, employability and of course physical activity. Further programmes include a range of health and wellbeing activities and projects for both children and adults in and around the Leeds area.
