Story
This November I will be taking part in a Movember challenge with a twist! Here's a breakdown of what horrific experiences you can put me through with your donations:
November 1st - fully shaved face (I promise it will grow back)
£200 - Once £200 is raised, I will put out a vote asking for what moustache/beard you would like me to "pull off" when I next shave.
£400 - My legs will be waxed...
£600 - I'll have racing stripes (aka slits) added to my eyebrows
£750 - On December 5th, I will have my head hair shaved down to a grade 0 😢
£1000 - If we reach this goal, I will shave my hair down to grade 1, with the little leftover hair that I have left being dyed blonde, leaving some delightful bleach tips to grow out... I’m also committing to growing this out and not cutting it at the first time of asking.
Let's now push for £1,500 and beyond in support of this awesome cause!
As Movember is all about men's health, all proceeds will go towards a charity close to my heart - Step-Out Mentoring. They support young boys and men in South London who are disengaged with education and/or life by running 1:1 mentoring and group workshop sessions with them.
Our vision is to see children and young people supported through tough times and empowered with the skills and emotional resilience to thrive in life and play positive roles in their communities. Supporting children and young people who have been struggling with mental health issues in the shadow of Covid-19. These young people will have been struggling with complex issues exacerbated by the pandemic, and so a safe outdoor based program opens up opportunity to re-build resilience and confidence, as well as helping them to re-engage with their families, schools and wider communities. We work to support them in forging a way through life and encouraging them to thrive.
