Story
I’m raising funds for Doddie Aid, supporting research and care for those living with MND for 35 days 1st Jan - 5th Feb, I am either cycling 🚴a minimum of 20 miles a day or failing that Tabbing 🪖🚶 (weighted speed march) for 5 miles minimum. I will not be taking a day off, I will be fitting around work and life and will be doing it outside irrelevant of the weather :) ❄️🌧️🌞. On the final day I will either be doing a 100 mile on the bike or a 20 mile tab (this will depend on my bad knees or ankle which one I do), at this point I expect my body to be toast.
The one thing that will make sure I finish this is the fact that on February 6th I can recover, if you have MND you don't recover❤️. It doesn't matter how small your donation could make a real difference in the fight against this cruel disease 💷. I have set a target of a minimum of 500 miles and £500 as 5000 people in the UK are currently diagnosed with MND (5000 miles may have been a bit to much for my old body) 👨🦳.
Together, we can honour the legacy of the incredible Doddie Weir and Rob Burrows and give hope to so many. My current Stats after 2 weeks: Cycle Miles: 296.14 / TABBING Miles: 35.7
