Story

We are a group of lads working on the Hinkley point C project and have agreed to taking on the challenge of the CARTEN100. This is a 100 mile cycle challenge from Cardiff to Tenby in South Wales.

This is a joint effort in aid of the Marion Evered trust children’s cancer charity.

The charity have been raising money for the children’s cancer unit at Musgrove Hospital, Taunton since 1974 and all money raised goes directly to the ward with no admin costs.

We are a group aged from 24 to 57 with different levels of fitness and looking forward to the challenge.

Love Musgrove is the Official Charity of Musgrove Park Hospital. Each year the Hospital treats over 450,000 patients through its emergency department, on its wards and through its outpatient services. Although the Hospital is funded by the NHS, it is vital that we raise additional funds to improve our services, purchase new equipment and continue to provide a positive environment for both patients and their families. Donations made in support of Love Musgrove have a real and tangible impact on the people of Somerset and beyond!
