The Jay Man Run For Hope

Running · 13 June 2025
Running has been an incredibly positive force in my life. It has carried me through difficult times and provided me with space to reflect and grow.
Because of this, I’ve been inspired to take on a new challenge: running a 110 miles to raise money for children around the world to have clean water to drink, the ability to practice good hygiene and protection from deadly diseases through things such as washrooms, hand washing stations and hygiene education.
For me, it’s not about chasing a personal record or running a long distance, it’s about sharing the hope I’ve found and spreading the stoke with those who need it the most.
Through every high and low, every good and poor decision, I can see how God has been with me, guiding me and shaping my path. This run is my way of expressing gratitude and honoring that faithfulness.
My plan is to run from the Compassion Canada headquarters in London, Ontario, to my home in St. Catharines over Father’s Day weekend—a 110-mile (176-kilometer) journey. This distance is far beyond anything I’ve attempted before, and this run will serve as a monument to where I’ve been, where I’m going, and the unwavering presence of God in my life.
The Jay Man Run for Hope - will you share the stoke with me?
