On Wednesday 19th July 2023 we’re setting off on The Long Walk Home. Our starting point is Briggs Equipment Head Office in Cannock, Staffordshire. We’ll then head north to our first rest point near Ashbourne in Derbyshire, Day 2 we’ll head up through the Peak District to Bamford. Day three will be the final stretch from Bamford to Forkway in Dewsbury.

We’ve chosen Dementia UK as our charity as not only is it Forkway and Briggs chosen charity for the year, but Matt’s Grandad sadly passed away in November 2022 after suffering with Dementia for a number of years.

Having spoken to lots of people over the years its clear to see that Dementia is so widely spread and effects so many peoples lives. We’re doing this walk in hope that we can make someone else’s day just that little bit easier.
