The Mudpack Challenge 2024 · 13 October 2024 ·

Get filthy for The Hospice of St Francis at this 7km or 14km fun and muddy obstacle course around the stunning grounds of Ashridge House!

Story

On Sunday 13th October, Clare, Nicki, Jilly and Lisa will be taking part in the MudPack Challenge at Ashridge House to raise money for the brilliant Hospice of St Francis.

Nicki suggested it over several glasses of Prosecco, and even then we thought it sounded like a terrible idea. Mud? Running? In the cold? Two days before my knee operation (that was just Clare!). I don't think so, but thanks anyway.

Except by the end of the evening we'd all somehow agreed it would be fun, and that we definitely didn't think running 7k in the cold and mud was a terrible idea. And by the following morning we'd all signed up, as The J Team. (because as the personal trainer and the fittest one among us, Jilly is definitely going be leading the pack!)

So, wish us luck, and most importantly of all, please please sponsor us, so at least we know we're doing some good as we haul our sorry asses around Ashridge!

Thanks so much!
