Martin’s Challenge,

The challenge; Mount Kilimanjaro stands at a colossal 5,895m, Africa’s highest point, set in a designated UNESCO World Heritage site within Tanzania. I will spend 12 days in October with a group, including former England and Manchester United captain Bryan Robson, where we will trek from the equator to Arctic conditions in a matter of days. This challenge will test my physical and mental strength, enduring the steep ascent to the roof of Africa. This cost of the challenge is being covered by myself, so any funds raised are going straight to charity.

The charity; The Manchester United Foundation is on a mission to make the world a brighter place! They raise funds to uplift communities and sprinkle a little magic on the lives of young people. Through our awesome educational programs, they help kids become social superheroes, tackling important issues with knowledge and confidence. Plus, they team up with some like-minded organizations to create unique partnerships that spread joy and make a real difference.
