40th Anniversary of the ICA, 1 September 2024
For 40 years, the ICA has provided hope and support to those living with IC/BPS. As we mark our 40th anniversary, we reflect on our journey and commit to ensuring the ICA's ongoing strength and impact.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. 2024 marks 40 years of the Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA). That means 40 years of bringing awareness, advocacy, education, and most of all, community to all of us living with or effected by Interstitial Cystitis (IC). As a board member, volunteer, advocate, and patient, I know how much the ICA has accomplished for the IC community.

IC is an autoimmune and chronic pain disease that affects an estimated 12 million Americans. Its primary symptom is excruciating bladder pain, accompanied by urinary urgency and frequency. Many patients suffer for years without relief. Learning to manage your pain and lifestyle around IC is not an easy journey.

To honor the 40th anniversary, I am hoping to raise $444 for the ICA. I am so grateful for the positive impacts the ICA has brough to my own life and super grateful you are considering supporting this great non-profit organization. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.

Thank you for considering!
