Story
The Big Bathe was the initiative of my sister - Victoria Hall-Hulme.
Victoria was diagnosed with bowel cancer when she was only 32 years old and when she found out her cancer was terminal, she fought with all her strength to raise money and awareness so that other people could be spared and live better and happier lives. The inaugural Big Bathe event took place in July 2022 and raised more than £68,000 with 106 swimmers taking part.
Victoria sadly passed away in September 2022 at St Wilfrid's Hospice, Bosham and as her family and friends, we are organising another Big Bathe in her honour for causes close to her heart - Bowel Cancer UK and St. Wilfrid's Hospice.
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. They’re here to stop wonderful people like Victoria from dying of bowel cancer.
Please join us - this will be a joyous day - whether you are a swimmer, in the bowel cancer community or your loved ones have been supported by the dedicate care at St Wilfrid's hospice, come down to the Big Bathe 2023 to show your support!
