Hi I am Thea, a Play Action International Volunteer and I am headed out to Kenya in the summer of 2024 to build playgrounds for local school children. I am passionate about education, and research has shown that playgrounds are vital to delivering good quality education to children around the world. Please be part of my quest to ensure every child has a childhood.

I am running the Bristol half marathon in May this year in aid of the charity.

Your generous support will enable Play Action International to create a legacy of play within the local community where so that we can create an environment where children's development and well-being are supported and children are able to learn essential skills that will allow them to reach their potential. As a result of playgrounds being built, schools report that:

- 98% report an increase in attendance in school.

- 74% of children gave 'The Playground' as a reason to attend school.

- 83% of teachers reported improvements in children's attention and behaviour in classes.
