The cost of living crisis is affecting everyone, but some more than others. We are already seeing a 60% increase in people using the foodbank, and this will only get worse. Please help us feed people in food poverty across Manchester

Story

We are all experiencing increases in the cost of living, but for some people it leads to the choice between heating or eating, or sometimes neither.

Delays in universal credit, being in low paid work and other reasons can mean people aren't able to afford to buy food and essentials.

Please consider donating to help us purchase enough food to feed families and individuals across Manchester who cannot afford to buy food.

The Other is back and we will be at The Old Monkey on Portland St, Manchester on 3 November 2022 at 7.30 pm.

The Other works by placing writers in pairs and they perform each other's work often creating an engaging dynamic.

Come and listen to some fantastic performances and raise money for Manchester Central Foodbank:

Lou Machen and Mike Conley

Lou Finnigan and Sarah-Clare Conlon

Cheryl Byrne and Kenzie Millar

Thanks for supporting Manchester Central Foodbank,
