Lee, one of our valued team members here at The Newt in Somerset sadly lost his brother in 2022 to Leukaemia. A team of 5 from the Newt will embark on the Three Peaks Challenge in April this year to raise money in memory of him.

A few words from Lee:

"In 2022, my family and I lost a special member, his name is Ben. He was an incredible son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and of course a friend to many. Ben was diagnosed with Leukemia on his 21st birthday and from then on suffered many health issues due to this horrible disease. However, Ben was a fighter and never gave up. August last year, was the month Ben finally decided enough was enough and peacefully passed away with his mum, stepdad, brother and family around him. Ben will be forever young at the age of just 31."
