Home Run is back! The 2023 edition is open to all employees of Standard Chartered Bank and now includes added activities of cycling and swimming along with walking and running!

Story

In 2022, over 2200 Standard Chartered employees round the globe walked and ran miles every day for a month to raise over USD 230,000 for Futuremakers by Standard Chartered, a global initiative to empower young people to learn, earn and grow.

This year, from 1 March to 14 April 2023, 15 members of the Global Research team are committing to walk, run, cycle or swim at least 20km each to raise money for the for the fantastic global programme that supports areas of education, employability and entrepreneurship for underserved young people from low-income households.

Our team, The Long Run, includes: Ben Craft, Chris Graham, Emiko Bowles, Emmanuel Kwapong, Farooq Pasha, Greg Tucker, Kathleen Sargent, Madhur Jha, Philippe Dauba-Pantanacce, Razia Khan, Samir Gadio, Sarah Baynton-Glen, Sarah Hewin and Shankar Narayanaswamy.

Together, we hope to raise over £1500 for Futuremakers. Thank you for your support!
