Story

Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. We’re a pair of bird enthusiasts from Glasgow and this April we’ll be taking on the 2024 Kiltwalk and walking the 22.6 miles from Glasgow Green to the shores of Loch Lomond in Balloch - the furthest either of us has ever walked!

Birds are a big part of our life so we’ve chosen to support the RSPB as a way to give something back for all the joy they bring us. Sadly many bird species are in sharp decline, but the RSPB are working hard to protect them and their habitats to ensure they can be a part of our future.

The big day is April 28th, but in the meantime we’ll be keeping an eye out for the local wildlife around the canal, the Kelvin and beyond during our training walks so please stay tuned for updates. We’ll be lucky to see a kingfisher but you never know!

We would be so grateful if you would help our fight to protect these precious creatures by making a wee donation or sharing our page. Every penny counts and we believe together we can make a big difference. Thank you!
