Kevin, Shaun, Ben, Lewis, Adam, Chris and Brad are walking the Yorkshire three peaks within 12 hours on 13th July 2024 raising money for Cancer Research in Loving Memory of Linda Rose Marie Gill, who was Kevin’s wife, Shaun’s mum and Ben’s Nanna who sadly died in September 2017 at just 57 years old. They were told the devastating news 8 years previously that Linda had Breast Cancer which was terminal. It had spread to her bones and they were hit with the news that she might only live for a few weeks or at best a couple of months.

Linda was a strong minded woman who told the Cancer with a few swear words to go away each night. She bravely had chemotherapy twice, each time for six months, an operation, radiotherapy and lots of different drugs. She fought hard for 8 years, however in April 2017 it had spread to the liver and again they were told she had just weeks to live. In true style she managed with all her strength, determination, will power and love of her family around her to fight for another 6 months.

All donations would be greatly appreciated so that Linda’s fight for life, helps other people fight Cancer with strength, and support research of new drugs and technology. Because Linda (Wife, Mum & Nanna) was such a wonderful, inspirational Lady, help us, to help her, to help others fight against Cancer and find a cure in the very near future to stop others suffering.
