Story
We did it! Thank you SO much to everyone who has already sponsored us. We are delighted and amazed about how generous you have been.
The page is still open, so you can still sponsor us if you would like.
Sadly the boys couldn't join us, Thomas doesn't finish uni until Tuesday and Harry is injured after a rugby match. But David and I did it, and it's the furthest I've run for over 15 years.... and that's with my arthritic left knee, so I'm rather pleased with myself!
So - as we all start to think about Christmas, we're also thinking about the children who won't be able to enjoy the festive season like we do. Children who have had their lives turned upside down by war. Children who have lost their parents, their homes, and their sense of normalcy. It's heartbreaking to think about, but that's why the Crawley family ran the Santa Dash on 17th December for Firefly.
Firefly is a charity that stays long after the fighting stops. They work tirelessly to help heal the scars left behind by war and bring back stability and certainty to children's lives.
There is still so much work to be done. War continues to ravage communities around the world, leaving countless children suffering in its wake. That's why we're asking for your help. Instead of sending us a Christmas card this year (if you were going to) please donate the cost of the card and postage to this page.
Every donation counts - no matter how small - and will go towards helping Firefly repairing the damage.
Join us in making a difference this festive season by supporting Firefly.
