The Co-operative Bank's DEC Myanmar Earthquake Appeal

The Co-operative Bank is raising money for Disasters Emergency Committee
£63,281
Powerful earthquakes in Myanmar have caused catastrophic devastation. Survivors urgently need critical support. Please help now. The UK Government will match pound-for-pound up to £5 million donated by the public to this appeal.

Story

A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake has devastated huge areas of Myanmar.

DEC charities are already on the ground in affected communities and are working hard to access remote areas. They urgently need more funds to scale up their work and reach the most vulnerable.

As a core member of the DEC's Rapid Response Network, The Co-operative Bank is raising money to help DEC charities reach survivors.

The Co-operative Bank will donate an initial £10,000 to the appeal.

Coventry Building Society have shown their support for the DEC Myanmar Earthquake Appeal, too, with a further donation of £10,000.

If you can, please donate now.
