Greenock Medical Aid Society are a non profit organisation based in Greenock, providing quality care and nursing support to older people. We strive to ensure the best environment for our residents and we asking for your financial support to do this.

Story

Together with 2 great friends, I am undertaking this challenge to walk non stop on the WHW from Tyndrum to Fort William, a distance of 43 miles. The three of us will walk through the night, aiming to reach FW for breakfast!!

I am doing this challenge to raise funds for GMAS, a local charity which runs two care homes in Greenock - Bagatelle and Glenfield, where my mum Kay lives. GMAS require financial support to help enhance the quality of life for the residents in their care. Ongoing repairs and maintenance costs are rising and this has an impact on funds that would normally be used to support the additional activities and resources they provide for the residents. Large or small, your donation will go a long way to help provide a better environment for residents.
