The Hygiene Bank has grown from a belief that basic hygiene is not a privilege. It’s not right that feeling clean should be a luxury for anyone in our society, yet many of us are living in poverty.

The Hygiene Bank within NI has 8 branches, North Down and Ards, Moira, Newry and Mourne, Belfast, Ballymena, Larne and Dungannon. We link in with over 100 community partners ranging from foodbanks, baby banks, community projects and schools.

Some of our projects receive products from Hey Girls uk. Products are received free of charge are plastic free and eco friendly.

We are trying to provide plastic free period products and more sustainable options where possible.

Funds raised will be used to purchase sustainable options for our projects across Northern Ireland.
