Story
In October 2023, we received the devastating news that my dad had a terminal brain tumour. He passed away nine short weeks later. He was 54.
I've been thinking a lot about how to honour my dad in a way I know would have made him proud. So in 2024 i'll be doing what he loved to raise money to help fight the disease that killed him. I'm undertaking a bum numbingly test of endurance by cycling approximately 340 miles from London through the French countryside finishing up under the Eiffel Tower.
We never got the chance to fight dad's tumour but The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, they're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
They're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And more importantly they are doing it right now. Because when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
