Story
Thank you for visiting my page.
Many of you may know the battles my incredibly brave and heroic husband has been going through and have shown us and our 3 boys so much support in so many ways, which we are eternally grateful for.
Last year he amazed us all and somehow managed to run the marathon himself. This year he’s sadly in no position to do it again - so I’m doing it!!!!
For the few that don’t know, Charlie discovered a lump in his leg which turned out to be a soft tissue sarcoma - a rare form of cancer which can affect anyone of any age, completely randomly. Over the last 3 years he has battled through numerous surgeries, radiotherapy sessions and chemo but there is no cure …..yet!
This is why I am running the London marathon to support Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep our Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support
