Story
On the 8th June a band of intrepid trotters will be walking the Thames Path for 15 days to raise awareness and funds for My Cancer My Choices. Last year, the charity supported 298 people and we will be walking 298 Kms - a km for every person supported and cared for.
One in two people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. Cancer affects the body, mind and spirit and My Cancer My Choices passionately believes everyone with cancer should have access, from diagnosis, to complementary therapies.
The charity’s volunteer, specialist therapists offer free, one-to-one treatments such as acupuncture and massage, scar tissue massage, reflexology and art therapy alongside group courses in mindfulness and yoga. These aim to relieve the side effects of cancer treatment and can make the cancer journey easier by reducing stress, isolation, sleeplessness and encourage relaxation and feeling of wellbeing. This service makes complementary therapies accessible to everyone.
Please join in by looking at the map and dates below and emailing us:

We would love to see you!
Or you can kindly donate to encourage us along the way - every km represents someone we support with cancer.
Our thanks to you all
