I am not much of a cyclist but in the Spring of next year (2025) I will be joining a group of dedicated individuals cycling across Taiwan, as part of the Hospitality Rides initiative.

Previously known as Pedalling for Pubs, the Hospitality Rides team will be taking on what I am told is the most challenging route yet, in order to raise funds for two incredible industry charities Only A Pavement Away and Licensed Trade Charity.

These two charities do phenomenal work across all areas of hospitality, providing crucial support to those facing difficulties and helping to rebuild lives. These causes are incredibly close to my heart and are important to all of us at Fleet Street, so I am going to start cycling, and over the coming months, I’ll be ramping up my training, to ensure I’m ready for what I’m sure will be the most challenging, but rewarding initiative I’ve ever completed.
