Story

As part of Baby Loss Awareness week, 9-15th October there will be a Ribbon Display, hosted in Village Green BT12.

Loss of a baby or pregnancy is heart-breaking, this is happening to families across the UK everyday one being mine. I lost my daughter in 2019 in the Neonatal Unit 12 hours after she was born with a rare condition called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. She wouldn’t have survived the 12 hours she did if it wasn’t for the help of the Neonatal team at Belfast Royal Maternity. During Baby Loss Awareness Week, we want to create a special display to remember all the baby’s lost and I invite you to join me in remembering yours along with mine. In this grieving journey will become one and support each other.

Ribbons displaying the names of the babies being remembered will be added to the Fence in The Village Green from the 9th October and will remain in place till the 15th.

All money raised will go to Sands, who work to save babies lives and support bereaved families.

Thank you 💙🧡
