This Harvest, we're inviting you to come together with your parish or group to raise vital funds that will help support families around the world facing poverty and injustice. Together this Harvest, we can build a better world for all of us.

Story

This Harvest, the parish of St George , Polegate and St Wilfrid, Hailsham will be Gathering Together to raise vital funds that will help support families around the world facing poverty and injustice. They will be sponsoring their Parish Priest , Father Rory Kelly, to walk the 3 and a half mile section of the Cuckoo Trail that links their parish churches together.

Earlier this year, Father Rory Kelly celebrated his Golden Jubilee of Priesthood. It had been his great wish that his parishioners would join him on a sponsored walk to raise funds for CAFOD as part of his Jubilee celebrations. The walk was to link the celebrations between the two churches in Polegate and Hailsham in honour of Fr Rory where he had served the last 17 years as a parish priest. Unfortunately, on the day of his Jubilee celebrations, this section of the Cuckoo Trail had to be closed for building works.

So, on September 29th, Fr Rory is inviting his parishioners, family and friends to Gather Together once more to celebrate his 75th birthday with him and help him raise funds for his cherished charity, CAFOD. They will cheer him along walk from St George's and welcome him back to St Wilfrid's with a birthday tea.

Please sponsor Fr Rory and make this a truly 'Golden Year'

for him.

Your support can plant seeds of change, empowering communities to build brighter futures.

Together this Harvest, we can build a better world for all of us.
