Story
I know times are hard and there are many demands on our income. However, please take time to read and help me in my efforts to raise funds when and where possible.
I am running this year’s London Marathon – 21st April – the countdown is on. LONDON MARATHON! The world's most iconic and prestigious running event. The one everyone wants to do, the one I've wanted to do since before I started running.
I’ve decided that the prestigious-ness of London, deserves a local worthy charity so I’ve teamed up with – the Jasmine Centre at DRI, a one stop shop service specialising in the care and treatment of breast cancer.
Please dig deep and donate if you can, any amount, it all helps. I know I’m one of many raising funds for a charity, so I/we really do appreciate anything you can give.
My personal reasons for choosing the Jasmine Centre -
I have lots of family and friends who use this service every 3 years for their invited breast screening; over the last few years I’ve had to use it several times myself and as I approach 50 I’ll hopefully be invited too. We all know successes in identifying Breast Cancer early and getting the necessary treatments underway fast, none other than my very own mum and lovely friend Michelle. I’ve had friends no longer here, who always praised the staff and services in the Jasmine Centre. I always thought it’s a scary place to visit, but its really not, its so warm and friendly with very supportive staff wanting an excellent patient experience - it's the whole caboodle and; this is why I’ve chosen them.
Thank you for taking time to read, support share and/or donate - really does mean a lot. Have a good day. Teresa :-)
