Story

I'm cycling in memory of my wonderful husband Graham who died on 21 June 2022. We were both so well supported by The Rowans Living Well Centre prior to his death, they were a lifeline to both of us, and they continued to support me following his death too.

I would like others to benefit, as we have done, from the valuable services the Rowans has to offer, so I would like to raise as much as I can by cycling (virtually) to the Lake District between 1st June and 31st July. The Lake District was a favourite place for us to visit, we used to go twice a year and I have many happy memories for the places we visited together. So, I will be out on my bike in my Orange Fund-raising Shirt cycling as many 10 milers as I can to reach the Lake District by the end of July. If you see me give me a friendly wave. :-)

As you probably already know, the Rowans runs almost entirely on donations with only 10% of funding coming from Government, so please help me to support them by donating as much as you can afford - even if it's just a little, as

Every Little Helps!
