Story
Shout is the UK's only free, confidential and 24/7 text messaging service for anyone struggling to cope with their mental health. Every 60 seconds, someone reaches out for support and has a conversation that could save their life.
£10 can pay for a conversation with someone in crisis.
£25 can fund a clinician to provide expert supervision of conversations on Shout's digital mental health platform.
£250 can train a new Shout Volunteer to take life-saving conversations.
We have collectively chosen to support Shout because mental health is a pressing issue that affects many people today, and is also an issue close to our hearts. It is an excellent cause that contributes to a larger effort to address the stigma surrounding mental health.
We are supporting Shout through a 5 hour-long paddle boarding and canoeing event on June 24th. Given the importance of communal activity, physical exercise and spending time outdoors, and the positive impact these things have on mental health, we felt this was a perfect way to bring people together.
To participate, we ask that each person donates £25 or more to Shout. When donating please include your first and last name.
There are only 35 spaces available so boards and canoes are on a first-come first-serve basis.
Donating is easy.
Simply click the ‘Give Now’ button.
Enter the amount you wish to donate and click continue.
Make sure to check that you have entered the correct Forename & Surname before continuing.
If donating for more than one ticket, please make sure to include the names of all the individuals who will attend.
