The Teignmouth Lifeboat Station was established in 1851, today its volunteers operate a 24-hour search and rescue service along the south coast of Devon. To do this they rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern station to launch from.

Story

We are a sea swimming group who enjoy the benefits the local beaches have to offer. Some swim nearly every day on the Back Beach others only when the weather is warmer. We have ventured to swim in the River Dart on Dartmoor and the Lidos in Penzance and the north Cornwall Coast. Where ever we are we have fun.

Our safety on the sea is important and we are happy to know we can rely on the RNLI Beach Lifeguards in the summer and the local lifeboat all year round.

The volunteer lifeboat crew at Teignmouth provide a 24-hour search and rescue service 365 days a year, but none of this would be possible without the support of the public and their donations. It costs in the region of £56k a year to run and maintain the service in Teignmouth, all of which comes from the generous donations of the public.

We want to show our appreciation by raising funds and asking you to help to fund the selfless work of our volunteer lifeboat crew in Teignmouth. By doing so you will be helping to save lives around our coast and will be providing the best equipment possible to ensure the safety of our volunteers.

PLEASE DONATE to help us.
