I will be attempting to run a marathon to fundraise for the Pavilion Youth and Community Cafe in Broadstairs, which is a hub for many of all ages.

The challenge will be on the 10th of December and will be held in Minnis Bay.

This will be my first-ever marathon.

With financial help being taken away from this asset, the youth centre desperately needs funding to help keep it open. The community cafe encourages sports and provides life skills and support to young people. It is also an after-school club where children go to have meals. Children need somewhere to go for their mental wellbeing.

Without the cafe, the mental health of youngsters who rely on it most will decline significantly, which is why we need your support. Not only is this a youth centre, it is a place which also welcomes mums, dads, elderly and carers with infants who like to come for refreshments and company.
