Story
When William was 16 days old he fell seriously unwell with Group B Streptococcus. William then spent the next 8 days on life support in intensive care fighting for his life. During this time, it was confirmed that Williams brain had been starved of oxygen and as a result, he endured severe brain damage. William is certified blind and is diagnosed as having global developmental delay. Due to this he requires regular physio, occupational therapy, and educational support.
In spite of Williams difficulties, he is a very happy, content and smiley little boy. His drive and determination has proved inspiring to many already and everyone is so proud of everything he has already accomplished.
There are some amazing therapies, equipment and treatments that can support and aid William's continued development, but unfortunately the majority of these come at a cost. His determination to continue breaking boundaries is an inspiration to us all and we will do whatever we can to give him to best life possible.
On the 18th May 2024 the staff at Techedia will be completing a group walk up mount Snowdon to try and raise as much funds as possible for William's treatments and equipment.
Thank you very much for your time and support with Williams fundraising journey. It really is life changing.
