Team Trant fundraiser for Sarcoma UK

Brighton Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
On 6th April 2025, Claire and Sonny (Patrick), together with their cousins Darcie and Tim Trant, are running the Brighton Marathon to raise funds for Sarcoma UK.
We are running in memory of our sister and cousin Jessica Trant, who tragically lost her life to Soft Tissue Ewing Sarcoma in June 2024 at 19 years old. Ewing Sarcoma is a rare and aggressive cancer affecting bones or soft tissue, most commonly in young people aged 10 to 24. With no known cause and insufficient research, there is an urgent need to better understand this devastating disease.
Every donation helps Sarcoma UK fund their world-class science to understand sarcoma better, improve treatments, and ultimately make a difference to young people’s lives. Through their research programme, they support the strongest scientific ideas and minds to make diagnosis more accurate, make new and better treatments, and improve outcomes for sarcoma patients. Jessica is remembered and missed every day, and we run not only in her memory but to bring hope to future patients and their families.
Your generosity means the world to us, and together, we can make a meaningful impact in the fight against this cruel disease.
We will be providing updates here throughout our training and on the marathon. Thank you for your support.
