Our Patron, Paul O'Neill is inviting you to take part in a unique cycling challenge from Canterbury to Amsterdam. We will be cycling 4 countries in 4 days to mark Halton Haven's 40th anniversary in 2024!

Story

On 28th May 2024 we are leaving the comforts of our homes behind to cycle through 4 countries in 4 days in aid of Halton Haven Hospice.

The objective of the challenge is to cycle just over 340 miles through ‘undulating’ countryside in 4 days. The daily distance is around 85 miles. We will start in England then pass through France, Belgium and finish in Holland. The money raised will support vital services for patients facing their last journey, their families and friends.

Halton Haven Hospice has served the community for 35 years and was the brainchild of a local resident, Dom Valdez. His vision has meant that local people have been cared for and supported through one of the most difficult times of their lives. Few of us go through life without coming into contact with someone who has used Hospice services in some way – either through personal experience or through a friend or family member. Paul's brother was supported by the hospice, as were Ross & Mark's mums.

Any donation is gratefully received.

Thanks

Paul, Ross, Mark, Pete & Emma
