Story

The BHF fund around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart diseases. Stroke. Vascular dementia. Diabetes. They're all connected.

Thousands of people every year are helped through BHF research, research funded by everyday people like you. Every donation helps turn science fiction into reality.

Humbug Radio is a radio station specifically for the 50+ demographic. Curated musical content, witty, smart and irreverent presenters, the antithesis of generic. It's like having a chat with your mates in the pub.

Team Humbug Radio comprises Simon Lipson, the CEO of Humbug Radio and Breakfast Show presenter, his long time friend Mark Salmon and Mark's son Benjy. We've all lost people to often avoidable cardiac conditions, so raising money for the BHF is something close to our own hearts!
