Story
It's that time of year again where I along with fellow recruits head to the nation's capital to take on the Vitality 10km.
Last year's costume consisted of a vibrant sunflower and a buzzy bumble bee! (Photos can be viewed in the Gallery).
This time we will be galloping around London bringing a bit of colour, a sprinkling of fairy dust, a lot of laughs and hopefully some hilarious photos to share.
Our chosen charity this year is in memory of Kaleigh Lau who enjoyed being a 'princess' and dancing.
Our aim is to raise awareness and vital funds for DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) research for The Bradley Lowery Foundation. DIPG is a highly aggressive and inoperable paediatric brain tumour that currently has no cure in the world, has less than 1% survival rate and typically only gives the children a median of 9 months to live from diagnosis.
Representation matters so if you could help raise awareness and share this link it would be much appreciated.
Costumes to be revealed on the day however there may be some hints in the lead up to the event ;)
