Event: Race the Sun Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) 27 April 2024, on 27 April 2024
Teams of four or two will be setting off at sunrise on this Triathlon-style adventure challenge aiming to finish before the sun sets! Teams will cycle, hike, and canoe with views of breathtaking Snowdonia.

Story

This April, we have an epic challenge planned. We’ve entered the Race the Sun event in aid of Action Medical Research. It’s a gruelling course that will see Team Foundry, our clients Team HAGS and their associates Team Tayplay, setting off at the crack of dawn to bike, hike, and paddle across 50 miles of Snowdonia countryside before sunset.

This extremely tough event involves cycling 39 miles around the stunning backdrop of Snowdonia, navigating a 2-mile canoe course on the waters of Llyn Padarn, and climbing to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest mountain in Wales with an altitude of 1,085m, on a 9-mile round trip along the Llanberis path.

Reaching the summit for a good cause

Today in the UK, there are hundreds of thousands of sick and disabled babies, children and young people who need our help. Action Medical carry out groundbreaking work including the first UK polio vaccines, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy and the rubella vaccine, not to mention being a driving force in the fight against premature birth and rare diseases.

If you can spare a few pennies to sponsor us, you’ll be funding research that helps to tackle conditions which devastate children’s lives.

Please give whatever you can and help join our fight for little lives.

Thank you from Team Foundry, Team Hags and Team TayPlay!
