Story
Em, Debs & Chris are taking on the 26 mile South Downs Way Trek in support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity on 4th May.
Our dear friend’s son, George, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia whilst on a school ski trip to Italy in January.
The hospital in Italy liaised with the Royal Marsden on his treatment plan, which enabled him to fly home by air ambulance after nearly 2 weeks. George’s treatment is ongoing back in the UK.
We wanted to do something positive to show our support for George, Paula, Barney & their family 🩵
UPDATE 30/4/24
Good news - George is in remission!
Treatment from the wonderful Royal Marsden in Sutton, combined with the marvellous Paediatric Oncology team at The Alex in Brighton continues, with the aim of it not coming back.
Thank you to all the support so far! 🙏🏼
