Story
Low key hate running and only really started walking after the pandemic. Natural conclusion: run 10k and walk 28.6 kilometers.
A month shy of my 28th birthday I've joined so many of my young millennial peers by buying a hydration vest and posting about it on social media. I'm by no measure fast, but enjoy the sense of accomplishment, which manifests as ailing muscles and joints.
Up until 2 months ago, I was also convinced living with Ankylosing Spondylitis didn't mix with running. Well it still kind of doesn't but balancing your mental health and physical health is what we are all trying to do, which is why I'm looking forward to chatting to my colleagues from Aberdeen Foyer for roughly 7hrs straight lmao.
You can donate to my Kiltwalk JustGiving (which will also inspire my 10k) The donations will go to support Aberdeen Foyer's work: supporting and empowering young people and adults in North East Scotland: 👇
