Story
This year a merry crew of Finn's friends and family have come together as 'Team Finnster' to take part in Every Day in May 4 Dravet - where we'll cover 5km / 2km every single day throughout the month of May. We're hoping Finn, our Dravet warrior, is going to do the 2km every day too (he'll be sporting his backpack with rescue meds 😬).
Finn is 8 years old and living with Dravet Syndrome - if you would like to read his story to understand the challenges please visit: https://www.dravet.org.uk/families/dravet-journeys/finn/
We're aiming to raise £3000 for Dravet Syndrome UK, to support their vital work in bringing hope to families living with Dravet Syndrome through support, education and medical research. To find out more about their work, visit www.dravet.org.uk.
Team Finnster is a diverse group from across the globe of all ages from 7 to 70+, male/female/boys and girls with several plated bones and the odd titanium joint so we're going to need all the support and encouragement we can get to keep us going through this almighty challenge so please dig deep to spur us on. All donations, no matter how big or small, are greatly appreciated and make such a huge difference. Thanks for your support!
Marcus and I, as Finn's Mum & Dad, are especially grateful to our friends and family to get involved with this and spread the love for the Dravet community. We love you all 'Team Finnster': Bill Gamble (Grandad), Shona Gamble (Nana), Neil Gamble, Lucy Farrer, Bertie Gamble, Olive Gamble, Keith Gamble, Shabnam Bashir, Kathryn Flannigan, Ruth Johnston, Sam McCrea, Louise White, Ayley Salvin, Adam Lennox, Jo Osmond, Tim Robertson, John McConnell, Fran McConnell 👏
