This page is for anyone who would like to take part in Walk for ME 2024 for ME Research UK but does not want to set up their own fundraising page.

You can walk whatever distance you are comfortable walking, in solidarity with other sufferers with ME, be it a few paces or a hundred meters or more. If you are bedbound you are welcome to join the page and those of us who can, will walk on your behalf.

Only biomedical research can find the causes of ME/CFS, improve diagnosis and treatment, and, ultimately, arrive at a cure. That’s why research is our focus.

We've awarded 64 full grants and 5 PhD-level awards since 2000 and invested over £3.5million. But research is expensive and becoming more so every day. That’s the challenge we face, and that’s why we need your help.
