Story

After years of knowing his body wasn’t quite right, our incredible Dad- Trevor Pippard, Mum’s wonderful husband and Billy & Dougie’s loving Granfer, received the devastating news this year that he has Motor Neurone Disease. Our family has been shattered by the diagnosis and we still can’t get our heads round it. Our team ‘Trev’s Troops’ is made up of 6 members Alison (Trevor’s wife) Amy & Sophie (Trevor’s daughters) Harry (Trevor’s son in law) and Mary & Sian (Trevor’s friends). Despite none of us being keen walkers, we are walking nearly 18 miles around Bristol to raise not just money, but awareness of this terrible, life stealing disease. Please help us raise our target of £600 to help The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation fight this awful disease. Any amount no matter how big or small can make a huge difference.

Thank you - Team Trev’s Troops xx

Stewart's Sports Tour is a team walk around Bristol on July 20, 2024 fundraising for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. The event is in support of Bristol's own footballing legend, Marcus Stewart, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2022.

Teams of between 3-6 walkers will undertake the 18 mile route that starts and ends at Bristol Rovers and visits the homes of Bristol Flyers, Bristol Storm, Broad Plain Rugby Club, Bristol City and Gloucestershire CCC.

This page will show the money raised by all teams involved. Check out the link below for more information on the event.
