Story
On 21st October our team will be running 104 kms round the Isle of Wight to raise money and awareness for The Talent Tap. (2.5 marathons in one go and 1800 meters elevation!)
The Talent Tap is a Social Mobility charity that focuses on supporting Young People from geographically isolated "cold spots" across the UK giving them work experience and work place introductions, skills, insights and confidence to reach their employment potential.
The Talent Tap works with over 40 schools and 6th Forms across Britain including all 6th Forms on the Isle of Wight. The more money we raise the more schools we can work with and the more young people's lives we can change.
Nick Cowley, Naomi Ambrose Rich Penny, James and Eleanor Lyon Taylor, David Hall, Matt Pocock and Beren-Dain Delbrooke-Jones, and a number of current Talent Tap students have all been training hard for this challenge. They hope to raise valuable funds to enable more Young People to access their programme and gain the future they deserve.
