This year, Synapri has teamed up with Abigail's Footsteps as our chosen charity of the year, a cause that holds a special place in our hearts.

8 of the Synapri team are taking on the 5k Inflatable Challenge! It will be a family affair with some us bringing our little ones along to take part in the fun, while we rally together to support Abigail's and raise crucial funds.

Abigail's is a baby loss charity providing support and counselling for bereaved parents and families, as well as specialist bereavement training for midwives and healthcare professionals.

Since 2010, Abigail's have worked to improve the way bereaved parents are cared for by hospitals and to better educate midwives on how to care for grieving parents. Sadly, stillbirths and neo-natal deaths occur daily, yet many hospitals are not equipped to deal with the parental care required, they have inadequate facilities and their staff receive little to no bereavement training.

Abigail’s Footsteps provide support and counselling to bereaved parents as well as specialist bereavement training for midwives and healthcare professionals.

Synapri’s goal is to raise £600 for Abigail’s Footsteps which could help fund:

- Bereavement training for midwives.

- Counselling for bereaved families.

- 'Abi Cooling Cot' - which allows parents to spend precious time with their baby.
