Snape Village has rustled up a team of eleven runners who are running the Great North Run to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Care. The cash raised will go towards the purchase of specialist Pari EFlow Nebulisers that are not available on the NHS but greatly enhance the experience of the patients as they are far quicker and more portable than the alternative supplied by the NHS,

Cystic Fibrosis Care also provide welfare and hardship grants to those who are most in need as the cost of living crisis impacts people living with Cystic Fibrosis more severely as there are always additional costs, whether that is transport to and from specialist hospital units or being unable to work or in a low paid job due to the condition.
