Story

19 staff members from Plume Academy will be trudging their way across 400 metres of the River Blackwater for the Maldon based David Randall Foundation Charity. The charity was set up in 2012 by members of Maldon Cricket Club, in honour of their friend and teammate David Randall who passed away from terminal cancer, aged 27. David was also former student of Plume Academy who excelled in both music and cricket. The charity aims to support individuals who demonstrate exceptional passion and dedication to their sport or musical ambitions that are held back financially, and supporting people with life limiting illnesses to give opportunities to enjoy life as long as possible.
