We are NHSBT Southampton. We travel all over Hampshire & East Dorset collecting life saving blood & we are raising money for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation & our Sister team in Portsmouth are raising money for Cancer Research.

The reason for our challenge is to support three of our dear friends and colleagues. One has recently beaten Lung Cancer, one brave lady is at the start of her fight with Breast Cancer and finally one is in an ongoing battle with Sarcoidosis. When a much loved colleague goes through a fight like this it has a devastating affect on the whole team.

We want to raise them up and support them by stepping out of our comfort zone & doing a cold water dip in the sea. On the 23rd April we are aiming to stay in the sea for the same amount of minutes as the temperature of the water. For example water temp 9 degrees = 9 minutes!
